Coffee, fries, and an afternoon of light — for as long as the season holds.
Enter from the Parkside Ave subway stop (Q train).
Walk south along the parade fields — past the joggers, past the dogs.
Look for the peach umbrella. That's us.
We open when the parade grounds wake up — the first warm weekend in March, sometimes April, depending on how the city feels. From there: coffee in the morning on weekends, slower afternoons on weekdays, late hours when the light still holds.
When the first real cold sets in, we pack up the kiosk for the season and go home to the cafe. We always leave a note when we close.
